While currently working as CNN’s PM Breaking News Editor, I've got a long history of reporting in and outside of the Beltway. I've spent my time digging through bills, talking to lawmakers, roaming the halls of Congress and sifting through regulations for stories that affect real people outside of Washington, D.C., not just the movers and shakers inside the Beltway.
My top stories from my time at the Washington Examiner:
As PM breaking news editor, I am the point person directing coverage of CNN Politics’ digital coverage during the evening and nighttime hours.
I often juggle multiple story lines each night, assigning stories and framing the network’s coverage in conjunction with colleagues on CNN’s newsgathering and TV teams.
In addition to editing stories, I work with partners throughout the company on social media post, headlines for the CNN home page, mobile alerts and newsletters.
